Virtual Harp Rail

(Rotate to view in mobile)

The Treble Rail adds 12 super treble notes to the guitar by dividing 6 strings with a moveable bridge.

The moveable bridge creates two playing areas and a musical interval. The musical interval is formed by sliding the bridge to the vertical markers indicated alongside the Treble Rail. Each vertical marker has an interval associated with it. The center vertical line is like the nut on the guitar with the dots to right indicating the familiar fret markers 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12. The dots left of the nut are a mirror image.

Slide the bridge to the desired interval. For example, to form an interval of a unison, slide the bridge to the center marker, to form an interval of a 4th, slide the bridge to the 5th fret marker, to form an interval of a minor 3rd, slide the bridge to the 3rd fret marker, etc... Once an interval is established a tuning is found.

The default configuration is a typical E minor / G major scale for super treble strings.
